Karen Morimoto, B.A., J.D.

Karen’s main areas of practise include Civil & Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury, Will & Estates, and Real Estate. Karen has appeared at all levels of the Superior Court of Justice and regularly represents clients in mediation proceedings.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Politics, from Queen’s University. She obtained a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall in 2010. While at Osgoode, Karen received specialized training in dispute mediation and served as executive assistant to the Osgoode Innocence Project. Karen was called to the Bar in 2011 after articling with a prominent Hamilton law firm and joined Startek, Peglar & Calcagni as an associate in 2013.

Karen is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Hamilton Law Association.
